Take the BOYCOTT CHINA PLEDGE!

Cut back shopping at other retailers who sell fur and/ or other China goods.

Compile receipts from NON-CHINESE items purchased; send [copies] to your country's Chinese Ambassador with a "Revenue Lost" boycott letter. The goal is to have millions of these receipts/boycott letters pouring in, every single day, to all 165 Chinese embassies worldwide! …An excellent ongoing project for school, community, civic and church groups.

Make copies of petitions and hand them out as flyers.

Print copies of leaflets, (see below) and hand them out when see people buying or wearing fur.

Spread the word by posting petitions on websites, blogs and mailing lists!

Write department stores about discontinuing the sale of all fur in their stores.

Tell pet supply stores that sell real fur pet toys about the dog and cat fur trade and ask them to take the fur products off the shelves.

Write editors of fashion magazines that promote fur apparel and tell them about the dog and cat fur trade -ask them to stop printing the fur product ads.

More Ways to Action

Other ways you can take action:

Write to the Ambassador to China and tell him how you feel. Keep your letters brief and to the point. Try not to write with emotion. For example, say something like, “If you cease persecuting, imprisoning, and torturing your people for their beliefs, and end your culture of cruelty to cats, dogs and other animals, I'll resume my Made in China-buying habits”.

Here's the Ambassador to China's contact info.

Write a Letter to the Editor of your local newspaper.

Writing a letter to the editor of major newspapers and media can help enlighten and inform readers. For best results, always be polite and respectful with those whose awareness you want to raise. Your letter can be easily submitted to many newspapers. Be sure to include your name, home address and phone number because newspapers will need to verify that you are the author plus they can give you notice when they print your letter.

Here are some tips:

• Keep your letter short, no more than 300 words.
• Address your letter to "Dear Editor."
• Write concise sentences, and stick to one issue.
• The letter should be typed and double-spaced. Include your home and work telephone numbers.
• Convey brief background material about the problem.
• Use relevant and accurate statistics from a reputable source.
• Tell your readers what action they should take.

After dogs were torn from their owners and savagely beat to death in front of men, women and children who wept and pledged for their pet's lives, their battered bodies with broken bones and skulls were thrown into trucks, the flesh to be processed for eating and the fur to be harvested for usage in commerce.
